Setup and support

Connect WhatsApp to your Bitrix24 workflows and automation rules.

Install WhatsApp Automation

Market publication is being prepared. Contact EMCsoft for current availability and review access.

  1. Open the application’s Market listing in your Bitrix24 account as an administrator. Use a Professional or higher plan with REST and workflow capabilities.
  2. Install the application and grant its requested permissions: workflows, administrator identity and operational notifications.
  3. Enter your first and last name, work email and phone. Accept the EULA after reviewing the Privacy Policy. Select Install app and wait for completion.
  4. The application registers WhatsApp: send message. Reinstalling the same application updates its registration rather than adding a second rule.

Connect a company phone

  1. Open WhatsApp Automation as an administrator and add a named account.
  2. On the authorised phone, open WhatsApp → Linked devices → Link a device and scan the QR code shown by the application.
  3. Wait for Connected. The sender phone number is obtained from WhatsApp; it is not entered manually in the connection form.

Keep each linked session with one owner. Do not copy the same session into another application or worker.

Add the automation rule

  1. In your Bitrix24 workflow designer or automation settings, add WhatsApp: send message.
  2. Set the sender number and recipient number with their international country codes. Use your workflow fields or variables where appropriate.
  3. Enter the message text, up to 10,000 characters.
  4. Enable waiting for the action result. Without waiting, Bitrix24 may execute later steps before the application responds.
  5. Save and test a manual run with an authorised test recipient before enabling automatic execution.

Read the result

Sent means WhatsApp accepted the message and returned its identifier. It does not establish delivery or reading. Failed means sending could not proceed; the application requests workflow termination and notifies the installing administrator. Unknown means the result was not confirmed: inspect WhatsApp before manually starting another run.

History and notifications are retained for operational review. Deleting a linked account removes its session keys; it does not erase past runs or messages already sent to WhatsApp.

Connection or authorization problems

For a logged-out phone, reconnect from the application and scan a new QR code. For Bitrix24 authorization problems, the installing administrator should reopen the app. Do not replace the administrator’s background authorization with another employee’s session.

Notifications are queued if Bitrix24 is unavailable. If all hosting services stop, the internal monitor cannot alert until it recovers.
